Active Travel and Inclusive Mobility Forum

A joint event between the Active Travel and Inclusive Mobility Forums

Tech, accessibility and active travel

In our first meeting of 2025, the ITS UK Active Travel and Inclusive Mobility Forums are partnering to discuss to what degree ITS solutions can help to address accessibility barriers, with a particular focus on walking.

The meeting will be hosted by ITS UK Members Clearview Intelligence and takes place in Milton Keynes on 12 February.

We’ll hear from:

Kris Beuret of Social Research Associates and ITS UK;s Inclusive Mobility Forum Chair, who will speak on how the problem of missing data for pedestrian travel can create opportunities for ITS.

Ralph Bates of Clearview Intelligence will provide a summary of how their schemes are protecting vulnerable road users.

Neil Barnfather of GoodMaps, who are a provider offering innovative AI-driven indoor navigation, enabling everyone the freedom and autonomy to discover and interact with the world around them.
