Freight Forum
Join ITS UK's Freight Forum on 22 April as we explore how developments in technology can support the decarbonisation of the sector.
Transport accounts for 28% of the UK's total domestic emissions. Of these, road vehicles were the primary source, with heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) contributing 17% and light vans 16% of all transport emissions.
Technology has a major role to play in supporting the decarbonisation of the freight sector, whether through greater efficiency of operations, new fuels or reducing the number of journeys required.
The Freight Forum will explore these issues at their next meeting. They will be visiting Welch’s Transport in Duxford, Cambridge, with the meeting involving a depot tour and presentations from alternative fuel infrastructure providers, fleet decarbonisation consultants, freight media and the FORS scheme.
Join us for what is set to be a fascinating day exploring the future of freight!
