The next ITS UK Maritime Forum event takes place at Peel Port (Port of Liverpool), on 10 June, focusing on the International Maritime Organisation’s proposals for a net-zero framework for shipping.

 The event will look at what the implications are for ports, and the transformative power of AI and automation to accelerate a green transition for the maritime industry.

Innovation is progressing at a rapid pace, and coherent frameworks and development pathways will be needed to maximise return on investment and set a technology trajectory capable of meeting global decarbonisation ambitions for shipping.

This event will delve into the key policy issues, and look at how cutting-edge technologies can enhance planning, resilience, and adaptability in the face of fluctuating geopolitical and environmental changes.
