Connected and Automated Vehicles Forum

Registration is closed for this event
Online session

This online session will explore a number of key issues.

Due to demand from ITS UK Members after our previous CAV Forum event, there will be time to debate the Automated Vehicles Act and its implications for the ITS industry. Led by Forum Chair Ian Pengelly, we’ll discuss the implications of the Act, including what secondary legislation should be considered.  To set the scene for this discussion, we will first hear from Giles Perkins (WSP) who has produced a briefing note on the Automated Vehicles Act in relation to WSP's role on the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for self-driving vehicles

Also in the session, we'll be discussing a joint paper developed by AESIN, ITS UK and TTF looking at how the ITS and automotive sectors can be brought together to make the most of connected vehicles technology.  This follows a workshop held by ITS UK, TTF and AESIN last year.
